What Your Free Consultation Gets You

What you will walk away with, before you spend a dollar.

A Real Behavior Assessment

We watch what your dog is actually doing and why, then tell you plainly what it will take to change it.

The Right Trainer for Your Dog

A plan built around your dog and your household, matched to the right program and to the trainer whose specialism fits, whether that is puppy foundations, behavior work or protection.

The “Why” Behind the Behavior

Understand what is driving the barking, pulling, or selective hearing, and how your own reactions may be feeding it.

Obedience That Holds Up

Recall, place, and loose-leash walking that hold in the yard, on the trail, and around other dogs, not just when you have a treat in hand.

Limited consultations open each week. Claim yours before the waitlist.

Training Services

Your free consultation ends with the right service and the right trainer for your dog, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Board and Train at Quality K9 Training: a German Shepherd working on leash with a trainer, alongside dogs settled on a place bed, in a crate and sitting on cue

Board and Train

Your dog lives and trains with our team in a structured environment, with regular updates so you can see the progress, then a handover so the results come home with the dog.

Private Lessons at Quality K9 Training: a German Shepherd heeling on a loose leash and watching its handler, with dogs holding a sit, a down and a place

Private Lessons

One-on-one training built around you and your dog, working your specific goals, your real-life situations and the behaviors you are actually struggling with.

Group Classes at Quality K9 Training: four dogs heeling together alongside a handler, with dogs holding position around other dogs and working a cone course

Group Classes

Structured classes where your dog learns to listen with other dogs around, building social skills, confidence and real-world manners in a controlled setting.

Behavior Problems We Solve

Any breed, any age. If your dog's behavior is making walks, visitors, or everyday life stressful, this is what our team fixes.

Pulling on the Leash

Dragging you down the street, choking on the collar, and zigzagging after every scent, replaced with a walk you both enjoy.

Not Listening or Coming Back

Selective hearing at the door, in the yard, and at the park. We build a recall and a stay that hold when it actually matters.

Jumping, Barking & Nipping

The habits that make guests dread the front door. Clear rules, consistent follow-through, and a calmer house within weeks.

Reactivity & Over-Excitement

Dogs that lunge, spin, whine, or shut down learn to settle and think instead of running on adrenaline all day.

Reviews From Georgia Dog Owners

Real results, in their owners' words.

“I can’t say enough about CJ at K9 concepts! My large dog jumped on anyone who would come through my door and bark at everyone as well. I signed up for the Advanced Training class and CJ changed my dog for the better! My dog is off leash, doesn’t jump on anyone, and knows not to bark at people to get attention. I would highly recommend the team at K9 Concepts, especially CJ! If your even considering it, give them a call! Well worth the investment 100%!”

“My wife and I sent our GSP puppy, Goose, for the 3-week puppy program. Our trainer, Josh, and his wife were amazing with communication, keeping us updated through the whole three weeks as well as tips for training in the future. After returning, we had a great private session to get Goose back training with us. Overall, Goose has been so much better with obedience, whether it’s heel, sit, down, stay, and place command as well as a plethora of other obedience commands. I couldn’t recommend Josh and K9 Concepts enough.”

“Josh and Dena were amazing with my dog Thor!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone! They treated my baby like family, but the difference this training has made is phenomenal. Thor is now well mannered and listens to everything. It is such a relief for our kids to be able to walk with him and not get dragged across the yard. He is no longer chewing up their toys, jumping on visitors or creating havoc. Being able to enjoy cookouts, walks and outings with our pup is so wonderful and I am so thankful for the time and care Josh and Dena took with our baby.”

Choose Quality K9 Concepts for your fur babies! Josh and Dana worked wonders with our boy, Arlo, during his 3-week board and train. We shared the areas we hoped to see improvement, and he came home more focused, responsive, and genuinely happier. Dana’s updates and photos throughout gave us complete peace of mind, and it was clear they truly cared about his progress. We’re so thankful for the time and effort they put in, Arlo’s a better dog because of them, and we’d recommend Josh and Dana to anyone looking for trainers who truly make a difference.

A dog is an important part of a family and delight to have around when obedient and well-behaved. CJ Quarles, a lead trainer with Quality K9 Concepts, worked wonders in helping us achieve this goal with our 2 year old rescue Doberman (Beau). Beau was somewhat aggressive, anti social, and strong-willed. We brought him to Quality K9 Concepts for an assessment of what could be done. CJ was assigned to work with Beau because he specializes in canine behavior modification. We went with the recommended “Board and Train” option where CJ was able to immerse Beau in a focused training program without any outside distractions. I must admit I was somewhat reluctant to take what seemed to me to be an extreme approach....but seeing the results I am convinced this was the best way to go. CJ kept us informed regarding Beau’s progress with periodic updates in text messages and phone videos. It was exciting to follow Beau’s transformation and have periodic phone conversations with CJ. At Beau’s graduation, CJ brought him to our home, put him through his graduation evaluation, and spent several hours patiently teaching us how to build on his success. Thanks to CJ, we are truly enjoying our obedient and well-adjusted four legged family member. And Beau seems much happier too.

I have a GSP who is very sweet, loving, and loyal. However, he is obviously feral and rambunctious. I reached out to Quality K9 Training and explained what I was looking for and they sent Olivia over for the initial eval. I explained I was nervous about the board and train program because I didn’t want Woody to loose his goofiness, I just wanted him to consistently follow directions. Olivia took the time to explain how the program would work and put me at ease. I ended up sending Woody with Olivia for the 3 week board and train program. I could not believe how much work she did with Woody in those 3 weeks! Walks are enjoyable now, he doesn’t push past me at the door because he sits and waits for me to tell him to go. He’s still rambunctious (hes a 8 month gsp) when I tell him to sit he stops. I can tell him place and he will remain there while I eat, where he used to be right in my face. My favorite part is Woody gets to walk off leash in the woods because of his time with Quality K9 Training!! Olivia is your girl to train your pup!!
